John & Joanne.

Hello! We are very easy-going hosts, we are a young family and have lived in Whitley Bay for over 10 years. We greet our guests with a very warm welcome, however, we will leave you to enjoy your space.

Our passion is to renovate properties which we have done quite a lot of over the years and are always looking for the next project. Joanne runs her own charity and I run a media and service accommodation business. We still love the coast and it is the ideal place for a holiday or short break.

Superhosts.

We offer our guests a place to relax or work, a place that gives you the freedom to come and go as you please with a self-check-in. A place by the beach that provides a little bit of luxury and a few special extras.

“The best approach towards hosting I've seen via Airbnb. Service at the level of a really good 5-star hotel (probably better). Completely new level. Anything you might need is in the house and in the right place. Breakfast, essentials in the fridge, ice in a freezer, toiletries, board games, speaker for music, fully equipped BBQ, glasses or cooking appliances, even batteries if you might need some”

    We have just returned home from a week in Whitley bay where we were a little unlucky with the weather and we are very grateful that we chose to stay here as it really made a difference on those rainy days with 3 young children to entertain. There were so many personal touches. An abundance of toys, books, and DVDs, a hamper of treats, some delicious brownies. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. I can’t really fault it. It was a perfect choice for a family holiday.

    What can I say, a fantastic location and amazing hosts. We were in the area this time for work and it was ideal. But the house was perfectly furnished for a family break away so I am sure we will be back again in the future to enjoy more of what Whitley Bay has to offer. Can’t recommend the property of John and Joanne’s hospitality more.

    Highly recommend! Our family of 5 had a brilliant time in this lovely home. Perfectly clean & everything we needed - along with many extras including an amazing welcome hamper, all the essential groceries & many books & toys our kids thoroughly enjoyed. My 8 yr old especially loved the pink guitar & the garden shed was a Pandora’s box of outdoor games for my 4 & 6 yr old! Popping to the shops was a dream on the city bike (less than 5 mins to high street incl a great butcher & bakery)
